6 Old Testament Portraits Of Jesus
In this challenge, we’re going to look at only six of the many portraits of Jesus Christ that can be found in the Old Testament. We’ll find pictures of Jesus in the Story of Cain and Abel, Noah’s ark, the story of Abraham and Isaac, the story of Joseph, the tabernacle in the wilderness, and the cities of refuge in the Book of Joshua. Keep your Bible and a notebook handy as you read so you can remember anything specific God impresses on your heart as you study His Word. Let’s get started!

Five Minutes After Death
In the universities, they’re interested in the origin of the species. We ought to be more interested in the destiny of the species.
The Impossibility Of Assurance Of Salvation For all Those Who Believe In Once Saved Always Saved – David Servant
The popular doctrine of “once-saved-always-saved” or “unconditional eternal security,” advocates that those who genuinely believe in Jesus at any point in their life are guaranteed to live forever in God’s eternal kingdom. There is no possibility, advocates claim, of anyone forfeiting salvation once it is gained. Is this true or not?
The Spectrum Of Grace – David Servant
Did you know that the spectrum of theological belief within all of Christendom can be viewed as a spectrum of belief about grace? That spectrum ranges from Universalism to Legalism, and everything in between
God’s Regrets And Mans Free Will – David Servant
he Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. The Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them” (Gen. 6:6-7). I [the Lord] regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following Me and has not carried out My commands (1 Sam. 15:11). I suppose it is comforting to know that even God has His bad days. But on a more serious level, we can’t help but wonder why God would regret something that He Himself did?
Praying For Prodigals
In this devotional, our focus is clear: to lift up prayers for our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, spouses, grandchildren, or anyone else who has, for whatever reason, fallen away or run away from the Lord. We earnestly desire that they come to realize the error of their actions, that the scales may fall from their eyes, and that their hearts may be softened toward God. Our prayer is for their return, like the prodigal son, to the loving arms of the Heavenly Father.
The Great Gospel Deception – David Servant
Standing before Jesus one day will be many people who have called Him Lord, who have been involved in “ministry,” and who expect to enter heaven. Yet, shockingly, they will be denied entrance. I’m sure you’ll agree that it would be better to discover sooner rather than later if we’re currently self-deceived. Now there is time to change; then it will be too late.
Start With Hello – JAF
“I’ve read books on disability ministry, but what do I do first? Where do I go from here?” So starts a conversation we have had with multiple volunteers, parents, and ministry leaders across the country. These people love God, love their churches, and love individuals affected by special needs. However, they have been stuck between believing the reasons why we should embark on this journey and knowing how to actually begin. This may be the first resource you have read regarding launching a special needs ministry. If so, you should know that there are many other valuable books on disability ministry available as well. We can recommend several to you that have been helpful to thousands along this journey. You may have already worked through several of those resources. Whether this is the first or the hundredth one you have picked up, we pray this small booklet will give you direction and help you implement a fruitful ministry.
